Favourite book? Elvis & Me, by Priscilla Presley and Sandra Harmon.
Favourite band? Red Hot Chilli Peppers, I Mother Earth, Stevie Ray Vaughn & Double Trouble, Elvis.
What are your musical influences? Stevie Ray Vaughn, Elvis, John Frusciante, B.B. King.
Bad habits? I smoke too much.
Betty, Veronica, or Big Ethel? Veronica, because I'm not into blondes.
What's your favourite Zygote song, and why? Drop D. This is a new song that doesn't have a name yet. It's in "drop-D" tuning, so that's its name for now.
Dream occupation (other than musician): Porno Star
What is your musical training/education? My teacher's name was John Tilden, a very inspiring blues guitar player. I've had some other teachers here and there, but I learned more in 4 years of lessons from John than any other teacher I went to.
Favourite Zygote show of all time? Reverb, June 2001 for the Canadian Music Week showcase. Short, sweet, powerful. A shit-your-pants-awesome show, it just felt good to everyone in the band and the audience. Not to sound clichéd, but I really felt the energy from both the insane audience and from my bandmates.
Best concert you've ever seen? I've only seen a few, but the B.B. King concert I saw in Feb. '98 was damn good and very inspiring.
What was the first song you learned how to play? Frere Jacques, a very popular French children's song my father taught me when he brought home my first guitar for my sixth birthday.
What other instruments do you play? I'm not so good at them but I play drums and bass.
Favourite song by any artist? This is a very tough question. My favourite song of all time changes every year or so, but it's been Soul To Squeeze by the Chilis for quite a while now.
