Holy shit. I've held about a thousand titles in my tenure with Zygote. Right now I'm officially considered the Stage Manager, Promotions Manager, Art Director and Webmaster. What does all that mean? I create every poster, flyer, album cover, sticker, web page, email message, show review, show announcement, and every piece of merchandise. I run the crew at gigs, although everyone knows exactly what they're doing by now and they don't really need much supervision. I plan and execute the production of every show, I'm the liason between the band and the venue, and I work out all the details of every gig so things run smoothly when we walk in the door. (ideally.) I pour glasses of water for the band. (Don't laugh, it's my favourite part of any gig. Very zen.) I contribute strategy and opinion to the band's overall operations and am involved in every aspect of Zygote except for actually performing.
